1. Ear procedures:

a. Ear Tubes (Tympanostomy): Tympanostomy is a surgery to place ear tubes in the ear. It is mostly common in children, whereas it is less common among adults. It is performed to cure several middle ear infections (acute otitis media). This surgery also helps to treat the build-up of fluid (effusion) in the middle ear that’s lasted longer than three months.

On the other hand, it if gets done to adults it mainly gets performed to treat barotrauma which is a painful condition caused by air pressure changes. In addition to draining fluid from the ear, ear tubes let air in to prevent the build-up of fluid in the middle ear.

This type of issue needs to be taken care of faster. Any delay in this can lead to permanent hearing loss. This type surgeries are not critical and can be done safely.

b. Myringoplasty: Myringoplasty is an ear surgery to fix the ruptured eardrum. It is a thin & dime-sized tissue situated between the middle ear & outer ear. It can be ruptured or damaged due to various reasons such as a result of ear infections, head trauma, sticking objects in the ear, sudden loud noises and more.

c. Tympanoplasty (Ear Drum Repair): Myringoplasty is done if the eardrum gets ruptured. However, if there is any kind of hole in the eardrum it can be fixed through microsurgery, surgery using a microscope or endoscope. It gets done because the eardrum does not heal on its own. This "hole-fixing" surgery is called Tympanoplasty.

d. Tympanoplasty with Ossicular Chain Reconstruction: Ossiculoplasty is the surgical restoration process of the middle ear. Three small bones connect the eardrum to the inner ear. Hearing loss occurs if there is a problem with these bones and/or the eardrum.

In most cases, an implant can reconnect the bones and improve hearing (ossicular chain reconstruction). The eardrum is usually reconstructed at the same time (tympanoplasty). The procedure is performed by making small incisions in the ear canal or just behind the ear. It leaves no visible scars.

e. Tympanomastoidectomy: If there is any kind of infection in the mastoid bone that gets removed through the Tympanomastoidectomy surgery.

f. Stapedectomy: If anyone lost their hearing capabilities due to otosclerosis that can be treated through “Stapedectomy” surgery. In this procedure, the stapes bone gets replaced with an artificial device.

2. Nasal/sinus procedures:

a. Septoplasty: Septoplasty is a medical procedure which gets done to fix the crooked septum. A deviated septum can make it harder to breathe through the nose. During this surgery, a small incision is made inside the nose and the thin plate of cartilage and bone in the centre of the nose is repaired.

b. Septoplasty with Turbinate Reduction: Septoplasty with Turbinate Reduction is done to fix deviated septum & to treat enlarged turbinates. During this procedure, a small incision is made inside the nose and the thin plate of cartilage and bone in the centre of the nose is repaired. Enlarged turbinates are reduced to normal size as well.

c. Nasal Valve Reconstruction: Nasal Valve Reconstruction is performed when the cartilage on the side of the nose is weak & collapses on one or both sides when breathing in. It creates a significant amount of trouble breathing & through this operation it can be rectified.

d. Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS): Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) is a minimally invasive procedure to treat severe issues sinus. Healthcare providers use nasal endoscopes which a thin tubes with lights and lenses, to ease sinus symptoms without making incisions in or around the nose.

e. Closed Nasal Fracture Reduction: Fracture of the nasal bone is one of the most common incidents in human life & it is not complicated at all. Closed reduction under local and topical anaesthesia or general anaesthesia helps in making the nasal bones like before.

f. Open Nasal Fracture Reduction: If your nasal bone gets displayed due to any injury or accident, it can be fixed by Open Nasal Fracture Reduction surgery.

g. Rhinoplasty: Are you unhappy with your nose shape or look? Well, it can be fixed by “Rhinoplasty” medical procedure. It hardly takes 1 to 1 and a half hours and it is not critical at all.

3. Throat:

a. Tonsillectomy – Adult: A tonsillectomy is the surgical removal of the tonsils. It remains a very common procedure in children as well as adults. This procedure completely eliminates problems with the tonsils including recurrent and chronic sore throats, mouth breathing and snoring, mild sleep apnea, tonsil stones, and chronic bad breath.

4. Larynx Procedures:

a. Laryngoscopy with Biopsy: Laryngoscopy allows us to have a closer look and take tissue samples from the lining of the patient’s mouth, throat and larynx (voice box) using a laryngoscope, a thin, hollow tube (scope). This medical procedure allows the doctor to collect small tissue samples (biopsy).
